A beautiful confederation-era sitting room, our Parlour sits off the Foyer just inside the front door of the museum, ready to entertain guests. The exhibit features period furniture, portraits of local pioneers and their loved ones, paintings of Bancroft from an earlier time (and of course let’s not forget the obligatory painting of Her Royal Highness!). There is a genealogy chart of Bancroft’s earliest settlers on display, as well as a beautiful pump organ. An old Regulator Clock tells time on the wall, while across the room there is a display of early pipes and smoking paraphernalia.
